Pay periods run Monday through Sunday and are paid the following Friday through ArbiterPay. Manual bank transfers are free; automatic transfers carry a fee. If you need payment early, contact Patrick.

Yes. 1099s are issued through ArbiterSports.

Yes. YLO provides free sports officiating insurance for every umpire.
Am I an employee?
Am I an employee?
No. YLO umpires are independent contractors: you set your own availability, you see the pay before accepting a game, and you are free to work with other organizations.
What must be in my Arbiter profile?

Full name, email address, cell phone number, home address, a professional profile picture, and emergency contact information.
What if I can't work a game I accepted?

Turn it back in Arbiter as soon as you know. Last-minute turn-backs hurt your standing and can carry fines.
